A lot of times I'll wear a hat to accent an outfit

Emmie, as I feel style is as important in your life as your look, I'm stealing this and putting it on my blog. But I'll credit you for it...after all, I think it's important for YOU to know, that anything goes today.

I am so happy, finally, I know that snake and jeans are the perfect combination, and she even showed me where to drape the fox that has been hanging in the back of my closet for ages.
I began to doubt her when her definition of a clean face included approx. 3 tons of eye make-up but she drew me back in with her tip about using an "oily base" for those with dry skin. Also her tip about rouges, "burgundy or a real real dark orange" - do you know where I can buy a real real dark orange rouge, I don't think Cover Girl makes that color.

"Let's look at it closer!"

I love what she considers a "simple" dress.

WHY don't I have as many pairs red boots as she does? (Seven.)

I think we all learned something new about fashion today.

I learned to be afraid, very afraid.

And never to admit to wearing shiny gold dresses with poofy sleeves, let alone do it on camera.

I checked IMDB for this fashion diva. She hasn't worked since about the time the video was made.

Eerie coincidence.

I'm so glad I read the comments, because this has been a very long day with no breaks from the kids from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM. I knew I was supposed to laugh at this, but, likely due to fatigue, I almost wept with pity for the poor lady. I mean, couldn't she hire someone to write a script or something? And is self awareness complete unnecessary in acting, let alone the comment sense to not wear leather while running errands in Southern California.

Thanks to all of your lovely comments, I've had my healthy outburst of laughter, and I feel liberated. I've also learned that it's okay to be an insecure human being, as I am. It can't be nearly as annoying as her over-confidence.

Thanks--I haven't laughed this hard in days!

My favorite quotes:
"Leather is always great. I wear a lot of it. . ."

"The puffed sleeves make it particulary interesting"

"This dress looks good on me!"

I don't think I've ever seen anything quite so narcissistic in my entire life.

Wowie, wow, wow.

Can I decorate my house with a 20 foot portrait of Brenda Dickson?
